2008 Season: Began and spent most of the season with Class A Advanced Lynchburg, hitting .287 with two homers and 29 RBIs in 85 games. ... Played seven games for the GCL Pirates in July on a rehab assignment. ... Went 3-for-4 with a double, triple and two RBIs against Wilmington on April 13. ... Was 7-for-13 with four doubles, a triple and six runs scored in a three-game home series against Winston-Salem May 5-7. ... Stole 16 bases and was caught 11 times. ... Hit .324 at home and .250 on the road.

2006 Season: All-America (Baseball America first team, College Baseball Foundation, Rosenblatt Report second team, Collegiate Baseball third team); All Conference USA (first team); All-Silver Glove Series; Minute Maid Park College Classic All-Tournament; Academic All-District VI; C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll... Postseason honors poured in after one of the best seasons in the country... One of three Owls to start all 70 games...
