Opening Night, 2010 - Fireworks Night - Magnet Schedule Giveaway ::

The Altoona Curve begin their 2010 season at home against the Harrisburg Senators (AA - Washington Nationals). Come join us in Curve, PA as we celebrate our 12th season as the Double-A affilaite of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Fans will enjoy a breathtaking fireworks show following the game, plus the first 5,000 fans through the gates will take home a commemorative 2010 Curve magnetic schedule, courtesy of Sanitary Maintenance.

Thursday is also an Altonoa First Savings Bank "First Game of the Month day.

Following the game, all kids will get to run the bases!

San Diego Chicken Appearance, presented by Tyrone Milling, Inc. - Kids Run the Bases ::

One of the most famous mascots in the world, the San Diego Chicken will make his first ever appearance at Blair County Ballpark, courtesy of Tyrone Milling, Inc. The San Diego Chicken was named to the top 100 most influential people in all of sports in the 20th century by The Sporting News.

Fireworks Night - Central, PA Humane Society Community Collection Night - Kids Run the Bases ::

The Curve and Harrisburg Senators (AA - Washington Nationals) play the third game of a four-game set on Saturday. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. Following the game, fans can enjoy a spectacular post-game fireworks show and all kids can run the bases. Also, don't forget to bring pet food/item that will go to the Central, PA Humane Society on the Curve's first Community Collection Night of the season.

Kid's Little League Clinic/Kid's Club Day presented by Galliker's/Kids Run the Bases ::

Time: 2:00 PM
The Altoona Curve wrap up their first series of the year on Sunday versus Harrisburg (AA - Washington Nationals). Gates open at 1:00 p.m. on the first Galliker's Kids Club Day of the Year. Also, the Curve will kick off one of their first of three Little League Clinics on Sunday morning. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the clinic lasts from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and is free with the purchase of a ticket to Sunday's game. Learn lessons from the pros and enjoy a Sunday afternoon at BCB!
